Grabaciones Tierranegra has invited different Colombian artists to compose a song inspired by nature and the environment.

47 artists, 42 songs and 3 compilations including the artwork created with the purpose and the universe of each artist. A powerful sample of collective creation with a common purpose, a diverse community of Colombian alternative artists that seeks to generate reflection through music.

This invitation to inspire action and change through music and reflection on the environment, also seeks to contribute to the ecosystem of Colombian musical projects that transmit a positive and reflective message around nature, a community that connects the music and aesthetics, with philosophy and lifestyle.

The first album release is titled SELVA ALTERNATIVA and features 13 songs that fusion electronics and Colombian folklore rhythms with a wide spectrum of possibilities ranging from Folktronica to Afrobeat and Pop. An alternative Colombian sound ecosystem with exponents of great experience such as Pernett, Dani Boom (Sistema Solar) and Julian Salazar (Mitú, Bomba Estéreo) who launches his solo project, together with emerging artists from different cities of the Colombian alternative scene.

La Siembra aims to inspire listeners and encourage them to be part of the global conversation about the environment, it also seeks to contribute to the ecosystem of Colombian musical artists that sings a thoughtful message about caring for nature, a community that connects the music and aesthetics with philosophy and lifestyle, who believes that art has great power to make a difference and create positive change in the world.

Revenue of this series will help us fund La Siembra Festival: Music + Sustainability on September 30 and October first in the city of Medellin, Colombia. A festival around music, environmental education and campaigns around technological waste, PET recycling, and reforestation projects in the Colombian Amazon.

Our goal is to raise awareness about the importance of sustainability and environmental conservation through music, and we believe that this festival can make a real difference in our city.
